1. Digital Products and Subscriptions
Newsletter Subscriptions: Our newsletter subscription is free. You may unsubscribe at any time through the unsubscribe link provided in each newsletter or by contacting us directly.
Digital Products: For any paid digital products (e-books, online courses, digital art prints, etc.), the following refund policy applies:
- We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase.
- To be eligible for a refund, you must provide a valid reason for your dissatisfaction with the product.
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method.
- Processing of refunds may take 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Exceptions for Digital Products:
- Products that have been downloaded, accessed, or consumed more than 30% of the content are not eligible for refunds.
- Products purchased as part of a bundle or special promotion may have different refund terms, which will be specified at the time of purchase.
2. Physical Products
For physical products (art prints, books, merchandise, etc.), the following refund policy applies:
- You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return and refund.
- Products must be returned in their original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and tags.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or was shipped incorrectly.
- Once we receive the returned item, we will inspect it and process your refund within 7 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Damaged or Defective Items:
- If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.
- Provide photos of the damaged product and packaging.
- We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.
3. Events and Workshops
For art events, workshops, or other in-person or virtual events:
- Cancellation by Customer:
- Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event: Full refund
- Cancellations made 7-13 days before the event: 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event: No refund
- Cancellation by RiverSettle:
- If we cancel an event for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
- Alternatively, you may choose to transfer your registration to another event or receive a credit for future use.
4. Commissioned Artwork
For commissioned artwork or custom services:
- A non-refundable deposit (typically 30-50% of the total cost) is required to begin work.
- If you cancel the commission after work has begun but before completion, you will be charged for the work completed up to that point.
- Once the commissioned work is completed and approved, no refunds will be issued.
- Minor revisions are included in the commission price, but major changes may incur additional fees.
5. Membership Services
If we offer any paid membership services:
- Monthly memberships can be canceled at any time. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
- Annual memberships may be refunded on a prorated basis if canceled within the first 30 days.
- After 30 days, annual memberships are non-refundable but will remain active until the end of the subscription period.
